Rebooted my watch, still the same, reinstalled the app, same again. I just got a smart watch with Wear OS and noticed the Stocard app is available on it after installing it, the app launches, then just displays a blank screen, not even backlit. On a device with a fingerprint reader or other means of security, you can even enable the built-in security in order to access the Stocard app. In the meantime, we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this causes. But Internet security expert at Seccuris Inc. ![]() This is of course not desired app behaviour and we are already looking into it in order to stop these pop-ups from appearing. Unfortunately, this is a bug on very few devices at the moment. ![]() Based on this outcome, we concluded that for this client Stocard’s store visit measurement method is reliable. Awesome! You can input each loyalty rewards card’s information manually or scan its. Stocard is a free app that lets you input the information of all your store loyalty rewards cards, which allows you to use your app instead of carrying around a wallet full of cards. The developers should be ashamed of themselves. The best reward card app is probably Stocard. This is not a bug, it’s an antipattern designed to trap users into accidentally agreeing to notifications. UPDATE 1: now, instead of location requests I get persistent & numerous requests for notification permissions, and what’s worse, the button order between “Activate” and “Cancel” changes randomly. I will be deleting it shortly (after I’ve taken screenshots of all the barcodes!). This app should be respecting my decision, but it does not. I have no desire to give this app access to my location and I have this preference set in my phone’s settings. Was a great app, really convenient, but in a recent update it has started bugging me with a location information permission dialog EVERY time I bring a card up on screen, which blocks the barcode from scanning. FIXED: Annoying requests for location information
